The Hank Aaron State Trail will be lit with over 200 candles to welcome and guide explorers through this beautiful urban oasis. This event will take place with or without snow (if there's no snow we'll hike). Co-hosted by the Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail and Urban Ecology Center.

Join us as we walk along the Hank Aaron State Trail and tell the surprising story about how this revitalization unfolded, from kids who wanted a place to play soccer to the first park built by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. We’ll hear numerous examples of collaboration and creative problem-solving along the way.
